HUNNIC TRIBES, Alchon Huns. Bhaloka or Triloka, circa 450-500. Drachm (Silver, 24 mm, 3.18 g), Kabulistan or Gandhara. Bust of Bhaloka with elongated skull to right, wearing diadem with two ribbons and two crescents, earrings, pearl necklace; in field to right, large Alchon tamgha. Rev. Traces of a fire altar. Göbl 113. Pfisterer, Typ 113. Vondrovec, Type 113. Very rare and nicely toned. Edge crack, otherwise, very fine.
